I always enjoy reading about other people’s big wins. One of my best redemptions was actually the least enjoyable one I have ever done. My wife needed to fly to a small town in Wisconsin for her Grandmother’s funeral and the ticket price was $1100 because the airport was so small. I was able to get it for 25,000 miles. Without miles and points my wife would have never been able to do it.

I have an obsession with ghost towns and this one looks like it would be interesting to visit. I hope they are able to make their plans work on rebuilding the city. It is shocking no one went back after the earthquake, many of the buildings look like they are in good shape.
