25% More LifeMiles

Get 25% More LifeMiles When You Transfer from Capital One, Citi or Hotel Points

If you’re looking to fill up your LifeMiles account, there’s currently two bonuses that will give you a better transfer rate. Let’s check the details.

Citi and Hotel Points Bonus

LifeMiles is offering a 25% bonus when you transfer points from Citi ThankYou or their hotel transfer partners. The promotion is valid from June 3 and July 5, 2019. This is a LifeMiles promotion so you will see the bonus miles once you complete the transfer.

Limits vary depending on where you transfer from. Some of those limits include the following:

  • Transfer between 1,000 and 500,000 Citi ThankYou points and receive the 25% bonus
  • You need to transfer a minimum of 10,000 Hilton Honors points (no maximum)
  • You need to transfer a minimum of 10,000 IHG Rewards Club points (no maximum)
  • You need to transfer a minimum of 9,000 Marriott Bonvoy points (maximum of 240,000 points per day) – You also get 5K bonus with every 60K transferred

Capital One Bonus

Starting today, Capital One is offering a 25% bonus on points transferred to LifeMiles. This transfer bonus will be valid through 11:59PM ET on July 30.

Capital One miles transfer to LifeMiles at a rate of 2,000:1,500 normally. But with the current bonus the transfer now works to a 2,000:1,876 ratio. That’s a pretty good rate for Capital One miles.

Conclusion

Two good options for those who are looking for more LifeMiles. LifeMiles is a transfer partner with American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles, and Citi ThankYou points. Two of these currencies now have transfer bonuses of 25%.

It’s not a good idea to transfer points speculatively, but if you need LifeMiles it’s a good idea to wait for these bonuses.
