Air Canada’s Aeroplan program is offering a 30% bonus until April 17th when you transfer points from hotel partners. Let’s take a look.

The Offer

Convert eligible hotel partner loyalty programs points into Aeroplan Miles made between March 13 and April 17, 2017 and earn up to 30% more miles. See promo page.

Total Aeroplan Miles earned by exchanging points from any combination of eligible partner program.

Conclusion

This offer won’t make sense for most hotel partners since they have terrible rates when converting points to Aeroplan miles. Plus it will take more that 200,000 miles to get the highest bonus rate of 30%.

SPG is probably the only one worth looking at since you get a 5,000 points bonus for every 20,000 points transferred plus the bonus through this promotion.
