Alaska Airlines Boosts Service from Anchorage and Portland

Alaska Airlines is adding new nonstop routes out of Anchorage and Portland. Tickets for all newly announced routes are now on sale at alaskaair.com.

New Nonstop Routes from Anchorage

Starting in late spring and running through the peak summer travel season, Alaska Airlines will introduce three new routes from Anchorage to Boise, Boston, and Spokane.

• Anchorage–Boise: A brand-new route for Alaska, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
• Anchorage–Boston: A weekly nonstop linking New England with Alaska’s largest city, ideal for travelers heading west for outdoor adventures, food, culture, or cruise departures.
• Anchorage–Spokane: Twice-weekly service returns after a 10-year hiatus, reconnecting Eastern Washington with Alaska via a nonstop option.

Alaska will also add an extra weekly nonstop flight from Anchorage to both Sacramento and San Diego during the summer season.

New Nonstop Routes from Portland

Portland continues to grow as a key West Coast hub for Alaska Airlines, with four new routes launching between spring and summer.

• Portland–Bellingham: Daily, year-round service begins in mid-March.
• Portland–Pasco: Twice-daily flights launch in mid-June and will operate year-round.
• Portland–Everett (Paine Field): Daily, year-round service resumes June 10, restoring nonstop access to the Seattle area’s second airport.
• Portland–Jackson Hole: Seasonal nonstop flights begin June 10, operating twice weekly throughout the summer.
