Alaska Airlines Extends Fast Track to Status

Alaska Airlines has emailed elite members to inform them that the airline’s popular Fast Track to Status promotion has been extended.

The Fast Track to Status promotion gives you 50% more elite-qualifying miles on all Alaska Airlines-operated flights. This promotion was first launched back in 2020 and was set to end on Sept. 30, 2021. Now it has just been extended to the end of the year, so you can take advantage of it by flying through December 31, 202‌1.

Both current elites and non-elite members are eligible for this promotion and no registration is required. Partner flights do not qualify for this Fast Track to Status promotion. You can check out more details here.

MVP Gold 100K Details

In the same emails, Alaska Airlines also revealed more details about its new highest elite status, MVP Gold 100K.

  1. Given the partnership with American, could I book an international economy ticket on AA through the Alaska app or website then upgrade to business class using Alaska miles since it would be on Alaska ticket stock?
