Alaska, Southwest, and United Shopping Portal Bonuses
Three airline shopping portal are currently running Back-to-School promotions, offering bonus miles for your online and even in-store purchases. You can earn up to a total of 5,500 bonus miles through the Alaska, Southwest, and United portals. Let’s see the details.
Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Shopping
During this promotion which runs from 7/17/2024 through 8/5/2024 at 11:59:59 pm ET, members will receive a one-time bonus of up to 1,000 Mileage Plan bonus miles on qualifying purchases made through the Mileage Plan Shopping mall or from purchases made through Mileage Plan Shopping in-store offers.
This one-time bonus award will be determined using one of the following tiers, based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period:
- Tier 1 bonus: 300 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $150;
- Tier 2 bonus: 600 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $350; or
- Tier 3 bonus: 1,000 miles for qualifying purchases of $550 or more.
Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Shopping
During this promotion which runs from July 15, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. ET through August 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET, members will earn a one-time bonus of up to 2,000 Rapid Rewards® bonus points on qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard Rapid Rewards points earned from shopping online through Rapid Rewards Shopping.
This one-time bonus award will be determined using one of the following tiers, based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period:
- Tier one bonus: Earn 250 Rapid Rewards bonus points for qualifying purchases of $50-$299.99;
- Tier two bonus: Earn 1,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points for qualifying purchases of $300-$499.99; or
- Tier three bonus: Earn 2,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points for qualifying purchases of $500 or more.
United Airlines MileagePlus Shopping
During this promotion which runs from 7/15/2024 through 8/12/2024 at 11:59:59 pm ET, members will earn a one-time bonus of up to 2,500 MileagePlus bonus award miles on qualifying purchases made through the MileagePlus Shopping mall or from purchases made through MileagePlus Shopping in-store offers.
This one-time bonus award will be based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period using one of the following tiers:
- Tier 1 bonus: 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $150;
- Tier 2 bonus: 1,500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $350; or
- Tier 3 bonus: 2,500 miles for qualifying purchases of $600 or more.
