Anheuser-Busch Giving Away Free Beer to Get People Vaccinated
Brewing company Anheuser-Busch is helping spread the word and get people vaccinated. The company has announced that it will give Americans a free beer, if 70 percent of the adult population get at least one coronavirus vaccination by July 4.
As part of Anheuser-Busch’s “Let’s Grab A Beer” initiative aimed at playing an active role in the country’s recovery and making the moments that we come together over a beer even better, the brewer will offer its biggest beer giveaway ever to give eligible adults another reason to get their vaccines by July 4th.
To get the free beer (or seltzer, non-alcoholic beverage or other A-B product), adults 21+ simply need to upload a picture of themselves in their favorite place to grab a beer, whether with friends at their favorite local bar and restaurant or with family in their very own backyard, at MyCooler.com/Beer to enter to receive a beer on A-B. The prize is actually a $5.00 virtual debit card and is limited to the first 200,000 people that respond when the vaccine threshold is reached. You can see the full details of the promotion here.
Currently the vaccination rate is at about 63% for the country. Twelve U.S. states now have 70% of adult residents with at least one Covid vaccine shot, based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s data published Tuesday.

So I give Budweiser my name, email address, telephone #, PayPal info and I get a bottle or six-pack of Bud? Um, yeah, that’s a no. Friends don’t let friends drink swill.
You get a $5 prepaid card. What you do with it is your business 🙂
The 70% figure is deceptive. That is just adults. The total percentage should be quoted by politicians and reporters. Currently, the majority of Americans are not vaccinated.
