I think we have all been feeling the application squeeze. I have cooled off my apps quite a bit after last year’s carnage filled app spree. I have been more strategic with my applications and I have been focusing more on earning big spend bonuses with the World of Hyatt card and the Hilton Ascend card. That makes me feel like I am not missing out so much on my non bonus spend.
Why Amex Offers Are Still Great Deals – Running with Miles
This is in response to the large devaluation that came around for Amex Offers last week. I agree with Charlie for the most part. Having said that I think this change makes below average cards, like the Green charge card, a sure cancellation now when people may have paid the fee in the past because of Amex Offers.
