OP-ED: It’s time US ‘big three’ end their anti-Gulf carrier campaign – atwonline

To be honest I haven’t been following this all that closely and this is a biased op-ed from the president of Emirates so it is biased for sure.  Having said that it makes some compelling points that I think the other side would struggle to refute.

American Airlines Awards Bookable On Iberia Again – Seat 31B

Iberia Avios get a slightly better rate than British Airways Avios which is weird since you can transfer them to each other.  But because of that weirdness it is good to see AA bookable again with Iberia Avios.  It should save you a few miles but it comes with way more restrictions.  That is a big part of the reason I prefer BA Avios.

Red Roof Inn RediPromise Revamp – Red Roof Inn

I am not gonna lie, I have stayed in a few Red Roof Inns in my day.  I also am not gonna lie and tell you that I knew they had a points program 🤣.  With Red Roof Inn’s new price match guarantee you get the price matched and they will give you 7,000 points.  I guess 7,000 points is enough points for a free night.  This is something that budget conscious travelers should be aware of.
