One person, 25 vehicles and 12 houses were hit by falling debris from a Boeing 787-8 – yikes. It could have been a lot worse if it happened closer to town but still pretty scary. Luckily the pilots landed the plane with no injuries on board.
Tourism Is Eating the World – Bloomberg
A very though provoking piece that I can’t really argue with. Cities like Amsterdam and countries like Iceland have began pushing back against tourism a little bit because it hurts the locals. I lived in a town that thrived off of tourism and yet the locals and businesses despised it. Even though they made all of their money for the year in 3-4 months they never truly embraced it. I think tourism tax will roll out to many popular areas or something similar.

We shared with you some pro tips on how to train your dog to fly but that doesn’t get into support animals. I am surprised to took the DOT this long to weigh in on the issue. I would have expected the airlines themselves to crack down a little sooner too.
