I have to agree with Nancy on most of these except for maybe lounge access.  At a place like Grand Hyatt Baha Mar it can be a real budget saver to splurge on lounge access especially if you use points to do it.  Overall for the most part I wouldn’t though.

  1. I solved the gate check issue by appropriate (i.e. squishable) bag choice. Took me a good number of flights to get a system down. 😉

    • I have a squishable bag too but mostly fly with just a backpack so isn’t a huge deal for me. But still annoying!
