Mexican police commander’s decapitated body found in Cancún – NY Daily News

Cancun & Mexico is a scary place these days for anyone who lives there I imagine.  I don’t think it really affects the tourist areas since it is all drug related and the violence has stayed out of the hotel district.  But it is something to consider and many will skip visiting because of it.

Royal Caribbean Shutting Down Dine-Drink-Discover Program – Travel Pulse

It sounds like this program gave an unlimited soda package, a dinner for 4 and an activity for free.  Them compensating people that booked it already $50 seems really cheap.  One of the reasons I have resisted cruising is because I figured the drinks bill would be too much but it sounds like this wouldn’t have helped much there anyway.

  1. So RCCL felt that people were getting value and wanted to put a stop to it. Nice. I’m not sure how this is supposed to induce more people to sail with them.

    • I find it hilarious that they say they did it to improve their customer’s experience….huh? 🙂
