This is not something I would ever willingly do. Maybe when I was in my early 20’s but not now. That is why we have points :). I have booked a hotel for 4-5 hours of sleep before and I have never regretted it. Now if time change was involved where I would be awake anyway that is one thing but it doesn’t sound like that was the case.
