Articles

MoviePass is staffed by dogs now, apparently – The Verge

This is weird and beyond stupid.  Fix the service instead of trying gimmicks.  Or better yet just shut it down already.

How to consistently fly for $270 or less round-trip out of Arcata – Points, Miles & Life

Don’t skip over this one thinking where the hell is Arcata and why do I care.  This is about using an undervalued mileage currency to get the best deal possible.  Worth a look for sure.

Reminder: New Hyatt Place Breakfast Policy In Place; Here’s How It’s (Sort Of) Enforced – Frequent Miler

Hyatt had a long time to figure this change out.  It seems like they spent almost no time actually working on it.  I still don’t get the thinking behind this change…implementation is a pain the way their breakfast areas are set up.  I could see them going back to the old way at some point.

EasyJet plans electric planes by 2030 – CNN Travel

This is the future.  It will be interesting to see how much tickets would be and what kind of savings there would be if any.  I imagine that savings won’t be realized till years after launch though since the cost to implement has to be astronomical.
