To be honest I don’t even sympathize with Marriott people when stuff like this happens anymore.  With all of the smoke that has come out around Bonvoy and how bad their points earning has got there is no reason to continue to focus on them.  Do so at your own peril.  Things like this will continue to happen when you have a toxic corporate culture like they do.

I know Koh Samui is a popular aspirational location and this looks like it could be the new hot spot there. Too bad it isn’t a points hotel though.
