  1. Prison for this young lady is cruel and unusual. Many people are afraid to fly and take sedatives and or alcohol to calm their nerves. Sometimes a reaction occurs. There is no evidence she intended to cause harm. In my book no criminal intent means no crime (civil judgement, yes). Just because the government exaggerated and scrambled 2 fighter jets doesn’t mean this woman deserves to spend time in prison. Scrambling fighter jets escort when a young clearly drunk British girl is reported to be causing a ruckus is in no way sensible. People who get to this don’t know they are in this state until it is too late. But of course thugs run wild in England raping, murdering, stealing, vandalizing and terrorizing, yet this girl gets the book thrown at her.
