Liquor makers in Indiana, Michigan pivot to making hand sanitizer in wake of coronavirus – South Bend Tribune

I think difficulties or obstacles spur innovation or new ways of approaching things. That may be the silver lining of this outbreak.  People re-purposing businesses, finding more efficient ways to do things or breaking down walls to ideas they never considered before.  How many companies will realize that much of their travel was actually unnecessary or that people can work from home etc. It will be interesting to see.

Swiss Hotelier Touts Luxury Quarantine: Virus Test Included – Bloomberg

This idea goes hand in hand with what I was saying above.  In order to keep his business thriving and his employees working this hotel owner came up with an idea that is pretty genius.  Offer full pampering for people in quarantine.  No need to go to the grocery store when all of your meals are prepared and brought to you!

Juno Bank – Earn 2.15% APY Guaranteed For 12 Months (First 1,000 That Pre Register) – Doctor of Credit

I am not sure how many spots are left but it looks like a promising account if you can get in.

Groupon Extending Vouchers By Up To 12 Months – Dans Deals

This is a good move for Groupon, a necessary one honestly.  People would not be willing to continue to purchase a Groupon with this uncertainty if they felt like they wouldn’t be able to use them.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see better vendors on Groupon in the coming months as more and more businesses look to gain their sales back.
