Citi shuts down my accounts – Miles Per Day

I was starting to think Vinh lost his touch :).  Lesson learned here is that cycling your credit limit is okay with some banks but Citi does not appear to be one of them.

Jam-packed Colombian island preserves quiet way of life – CNN Travel

There are no hotels on this island that is the size of 2 soccer fields but you can tour it for $1.  Amazing way of life.  An island with no Police or need for them…pretty impressive these days.

MoviePass is un-canceling people’s accounts – Vox

Moviepass is all over the place these days changing the program rules by the minute.  Trying to stave off complete insolvency.  This reaches a new low…tricking people who have canceled their account into reopening so they can attempt a few more charges on their card without their knowledge.  Do yourself a favor and move onto Sinemia or AMC at this point.

  1. That is why when I signed up for moviepass I used a virtual credit card number on my citi double cash card – I try to do this with companies that require automatic renewal.
