Amex to Lifemiles Transfers Time – Definitely Not Instant…Or At All – Travel Summary

I shared an article last week that showed why this was a great offer.  This is not what I wanted to hear about the transfers though.  I wonder what is going on and why it is taking Amex so long to figure it out.

I do find it pretty insulting to limit the memberships to only when you are flying the airline that the membership is for.  As Windbag says that isn’t really a membership and it’s no different than access you get via credit cards.  But the Airlines like to be cheap no matter if it makes sense or not.  There is also a tip in there on how to get United lounge access without a credit card or regular membership.
