Window Swap

Something kind of unique a reader emailed to me.  You are able to hop around to other people’s windows in different cities around the world.  It is pretty random but you do get some interesting views.  If you are really missing travel or want to see some cities you have never been to this is an interesting way to do it at home.

The Waldorf Astoria — the monster of Manhattan – Financial Times

A very interesting look at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan.  It tells the full story of how it started and what it has meant to the city and what the future holds.  I can’t wait to check it out when it reopens.

How one couple has lived for 29 years on an island they built themselves – CNN

Pretty crazy.

  1. If you google the title they will have you answer some questions to read it I think. That is how I was able to read it – wasn’t aware it came up as a paywall the first click through.
