I feel tremendous sympathy for the workers and small businesses in Las Vegas. For the billionaires who brought in an NFL team into a stadium they could easily afford but instead chose to stick every tourist staying in the county with the bill – not so much. Also I’m not sure that Las Vegas really has much of a reservoir of goodwill these days with visitors getting milked at every turn. That may affect things for a while to come.
Interesting about cruises. I think anyone booking for the first quarter of the year may be disappointed. Even if the cruises are actually running the experience is unlikely to be normal until a vaccine becomes widely available. That would take a lot of the fun out of cruising.
I agree – a lot of the fun is taken out of all travel right now. Hopefully they are booking for the fall and things should have at least some normal by then.
