My Messed Up Timing On Chase Sapphire Reserve 1.5 Pay Yourself Back Redemptions – Doctor of Credit

I have to say I disagree with Chuck here.  I think you will have 90 days after purchase to redeem the points because that is how the terms are set up.  So if it charges in September you should be able to redeem it at a later date.  There were charges from before Pay Yourself Back was even instituted that you could redeem once live since it was within 90 days so I think it will work the same way after the date too. That is of course speculation on my part though.

My 12 Month Experiment to Open an Installment Loan to Increase my Credit Score – Travel With Grant

This was an interesting idea by Grant.  I am not sure how much of a role it played in the score increase but it is something to consider if you don’t have a good mix of accounts. Grant was a guest host on this week’s podcast too so be sure to check it out!

Wells Fargo tells Oregon woman she’s dead; she says it’s not so – The Oregonian

What a frustrating experience, and of course it is Wells Fargo.  I am surprised they didn’t add accounts after she “passed” 🤔. I have a Wells Fargo story upcoming, they seem to be incompetent in more areas than one these days.
