RETHINKING HOLIDAY TRAVEL AND GATHERINGS – Miles for Family

It is a tough decision that everyone has to make pretty soon here.  We have decided to meet up with my sister, her family and my parents in West Virginia.  It is the most central place to all of us where we can all drive to it. If I didn’t have kids and if my wife didn’t make all of the money (can’t work from home) I would do this in a heartbeat 🤣😂. I know some friends in the travel game have done this for a month or two, but nothing longer term.  Hopefully some of you have been able to do it too.

  1. My wife and I are taking our son (18 months old) back to Germany and then Austria for Christmas. We are concerned they’ll be closing off borders to one another like they did in the spring. My family is in Austria and my wife’s is in Germany. We fly into Munich in Mid-December…I’ve got a feeling we may not be able to cross the German/Austrian border the way things are going.
