Amex Platinum 75K Bonus Available Through Some Referrals (YMMV) – Danny the Deal Guru

A lot of people like to get this card before the end of the year to go for the airline incidental triple dip.  If you are in the market for the Platinum card be sure to check for the 100K offer here first.  People are still reporting that they are getting the offer to show up.

[YMMV] Chase Sapphire Preferred Pre-Qualified 60,000 Points Offer with Annual Fee Waived – Doctor of Credit

I have never been targeted for one of these pre-qualified offers but hopefully some of you do.  Here is our review of the Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Skyrocketing seat selection fees enrage flyers, enrich airlines – USA Today

I actually ran into this recently and posted about it in our Facebook Group.  American Airlines had labeled pretty much every seat remaining on the plane as preferred seating.  The trick is to not select a seat and then check 24 hours out to see if more or released.  Don’t pay for the fees unless you have to (flying with a small child etc.).

Rerouting a UPS or Fedex package back to you due to scammer – Miles Per Day

    • If you sign up for the card in December you can usually get the airline incidental 3 times in the first year since you have 30 days to cancel after the AF posts. That would put you into Jan 2020.
