Not sure what he expected during the holidays.  If he had waited until January etc. it would have been a much different experience.  I would say if this is your once in a lifetime, or first trip to Disney, I would hold off.  Otherwise I think you would be mostly fine if you avoid the obvious busy times.

This place looks pretty awesome, like all of Circa really.
