My Atlantic City Status Match Adventure — Update: New Casino Tier Match Opportunity and Total Rewards Diamond Fails to Deliver – The Lazy Traveler’s Handbook
I love these casino status match opportunities since they come with free play, free rooms, free tickets, free food etc. Just a lot of free stuff. I have heard of other people complaining about Total Rewards saying it takes 2 weeks for a $100 celebration dinner to populate which I think is new and completely absurd. Remember that you can get these matches started with hotel status via Wyndham or Hyatt.

This place looks pretty amazing and a place that I would for sure check out if I was in the area. The amount of preservation that occurred is simply awesome. I find it interesting that Pompeii gets more visitors when this site has so much more to offer. Be sure to check it out if you are in the area on your next visit to Italy.

In February, I was told by the TR staff at Caesars LV that I wasn’t able to use the Celebration Dinner for a few days after the status match from Founders Card. However, they would allow it as a “one-time exception”. My brother was given the two week reply when he tried to redeem his Celebration Dinner via a status match he did from mLife.
It doesn’t make any sense – it should be there as soon as you hit Diamond. But I guess it is something to be aware of for next time.
