Best new hotels to check out in 2019 – CNN Travel

Some really cool looking hotel options and a few points ones as well.  I know Bethany is looking forward to checking out Rosewood Baha Mar after her underwhelming trip to Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.

Amex Gold is Inconsistent with their 4x Restaurants Category – Doctor of Credit
Great guest post from Chuck’s friend. It appears Amex still hasn’t figured out this coding issue and it is annoying to have to contact them.  The larger establishments should be fine but the smaller locations may cause issues.  This may lead to people skipping Amex and going with Citi Prestige’s 5X earning or Chase Sapphire Reserve for 3X.
American Airlines Welcomes First Flight Attendant With Special Needs – Travel Noire

7 Small Luxury Hotels I’m interested in booking with Hyatt points – Points with a Crew

As you know Hyatt is one of the two hotel programs I find worthwhile.  This is an interesting partnership but I haven’t dug into it at all.  Ian did a lot of the leg work for us so be sure to check out his list.
