I know Tim wrote up his experience using the test on Miles to Memories but it is pretty crappy to be selling tests with only a few months left before expiration.  I know companies have been having issue keeping up with demand but sometimes you need to get rid of stock if it is unfair to your customer. Or offer a discount and warning if it is close to expiration.
