The Hilton piece is kind of amusing. They say that they’ll have some monster of a hotel but neglect to mention that this is an obvious reflag, hence the refurbished rooms. Other notes of amusement include – Le Gasp! – an outdoor swimming pool. And let’s not forget that rare creature in upper class Singapore hotels – the club lounge. Jokes aside, I’m sure the hotel will be fine but wow do they need a better PR department. Discerning viewers should be intrigued rather than snorting with amusement when reading the press release.
