Thank you for sharing the TravelZork NEW Wynn Rooms Article. I am still a “bit” torn. So much change, and so much design change. I think one’s impression might be different, if they were not familiar with the current room product. Trying to keep a very open mind.
From your picture and seeing the regular room mockup in the Plaza shops I think the new design language is great although I could see how it wouldn’t be for everyone. Can’t wait to check it out for myself. Thanks for putting all the effort into getting pics of the rooms. We also talk about your article in this week’s MtM Vegas YT show which should come out tomorrow.
Appreciate the kind words. One interesting note, is that some people have had a chance to stay in the rooms. This is mostly due to capacity and super busy weekends. The little I have observed, is that it is mostly casino-side guests. But, Wynn is being very conservative about not promising these rooms to anyone (probably until Q1 2022). It is somewhat tough, since things are so busy in Vegas and the renovations have removed inventory that would regularly be used. Wanted to just mention this, since you guys are very deep into Vegas content, and you might “happen upon” someone mentioning they got one of the new rooms, and it is absolutely possible.
Always hard to see something you love change for sure.
Indeed. As I get older, I do try to keep an open mind. I also think that the design decisions are targeting a slightly “younger-affluent” demographic.
