Booster soon to be required to be considered ‘fully vaccinated’ and skip Hawaii traveler quarantine – Fox 5 Vegas

We just talked about the hoops Shawn had to jump through for his Hawaii trip on this week’s podcast. It looks like a new one will be added soon.

After wave of cancellations, Delta sees recovery in 2022 – ABC News

I am surprised to see such a healthy loss in the 4th quarter with how busy travel was but the pandemic and staff shortages caused a lot of issues / cancellations. Interesting quote is that the current spike is predicted to push back the travel recovery 2 months.

Belize To Require Visitors To Purchase COVID Travel Insurance – Travel Pulse

“The cost of the policy is $18 USD and provides coverage for up to $50,000 USD in medical expenses related to treatment of COVID-19 for a period of 21 days.” At that price I think this is a great move and I wish more countries would put something similar together.

  1. Everytime you redeem a ticket for delta miles or pay revenue you are supporting their employees in that case
I’ve noticed frequently I can fly on other airlines for 7500 to 20k in coach one way yet Delta starts at 20 k and goes way up from there

  2. I don’t often have nice things to say about Delta but doing profit sharing – even if a bit of a misnomer in this case – while losing money is an admirable thing to do. Maybe United will feel similarly and return the bonuses they killed off for their people.
