Marriott Elite Breakfast Doesn’t Have To Include Coffee, That’ll Be Extra For Juice Too Ms. Titanium Elite – View from the Wing
Not knowing what you are going to get from hotel to hotel is one of the many annoying things about the Bonvoy program. That is part of why I liked the Hilton changes because I now knew what to expect at hotel brands. Before they let their higher end hotels do kind of whatever they wanted in the US.

Mark,
This is yet another example of the downward spiral of Marriott with more most likely to come. For many of us such as myself whose long time loyalty is coming to a halt ( 4310 room nights) we have been tossed aside in favor of the franchise owners by the new CEO. Frankly looking around the corner I think many will be seeking the best deal/rate rather than ” automatic Marriott booking”. For those of us that travel international there is hope for reasonable service.
I think as these programs ditch award charts and dilute status etc. everyone will go to free agent status. They’ll focus on easy status like Hilton Gold to fill in the gaps etc. to use when it makes sense.
