  1. Great article about the beach towns! I’ve always been intrigued by another town not on the list called Solvang. It’s about 30 minutes from Santa Barbara, and was settled by Danes and it’s still very danish themed. But, with the gas prices as high as they are, California isn’t as cheap as it used to be.
