I Just Bought My First Delta Basic Economy Fare – Seat31B

This is one of the few times that basic economy makes a lot of sense.  Especially with Delta since they allow carry-ons.  American will be allowing carryons soon as well.  But if the plane is a 2 X 2 configuration there is no reason not to take the savings.

My experience with the current Atlantic City status matches and promotions – The Free-quent Flyer

I have not been able to make it out to AC this summer to take advantage of all of these deals.  And reading this write up definitely makes me regret that.  Bethany did a great guide of how to get this all done.

9 hotels to sleep in before you die – CNN Travel

An interesting read with some very unique properties.  The floating tepees would be cool.  The ice hotel would be a hard pass for me although I do like to sleep in very cold rooms haha.

Bear walks into hotel that inspired ‘The Shining’ – 6 ABC News

Of all the hotels in all the world it had to happen where The Shining was conceived.
