  1. They should change the beep with “ka-CHING!” But I’m guessing a lot of folks would recognize what that sound was…

  2. Self checkout at my Walmart is super high tech, noticing when I don’t correctly scan an item. What makes self checkout more challenging is when you scan multiples of the same item and you hear the “beep”, so you put it in the bag and the machine stops and calls over an employee because it wasn’t YOUR “beep”. There’s 20 self checkout machines all around you and there’s almost an incessant “beep beep” happening!
