Should have read “Potential Click-bait,…”. You’re painting with a pretty broad stroke when you refer to one change on one card in the Citi portfolio as “Citi Devaluation”.
Everyone should agree that the AA Executive Card is not the best credit card for purchases. The card serves one purpose: access to the Admirals Club. Period. And, everyone should agree that the enemy is lounge overcrowding. All airlines, not just AA, need to deal with it. Something has to give. And, raising the price of admission makes the most sense. And, AA should follow Delta’s example by shutting down the purchase of single day passes.
