Best Buy Amex Offer, Spend $300 or More, Get $30 Back

There’s a new Amex Offer that can save you 10% at Best Buy. This is an offer that we see every six months or so and can be really useful to many. Let’s take a look.

The Offer

Get a one-time $30 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $300 or more in-store at Best Buy or online at bestbuy.com by 9/10/2017.

Offer can be added to your card with hashtag #AmexBestBuy

Key Terms

  • Valid at any participating location in the US and US Territories.
  • Not valid for e-gift card purchases. Excludes corporate gift card purchases.
  • Excludes Best Buy Express, Geek Squad services made outside of Best Buy, Best Buy Parts Store, Best Buy Private Store & Auction or at standalone Pacific Sales stores.
  • See full details here.

Analysis

This offer is really interesting since it can be used online and in-store. Best Buy sells lots of gift cards, especially in stores, and terms only exclude e-gift card purchases. That means that you can get 10% off on lots of third party gift cards and even Visa gift cards which will be at e negative cost with this offer. Best Buy also has a small selection of third party gift cards online.

This Amex Offer can also be useful for purchasing electronics and possibly for resale if you see any good discounts. You can combine this 10% offer with 2.5% in Best Buy Rewards and maybe some portal cashback.

Conclusion

This is one of the best Amex Offers and it has very wide range of possibilities. You can lock in savings at lots or merchants through gift cards, make a profit with Visa gift cards or get discounts on merchandise. The offer is available on all cards, and you can easily add it through Twitter Sync.

  1. Per Amex, “Sorry, max number of of card members have enrolled….” And I was waiting for an incentive to buy my new tablet…..

  2. Is the below wording pretty normal?…especially when the offer is available on multiple cards?
“Must add offer to Card and use same Card to redeem. Limit 1 statement credit(s) per American Express® Card across all American Express offer channels”
