Better Chase Sapphire Preferred Bonus In-Branch

Better Chase Sapphire Preferred Bonus In-Branch

For those considering the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, Chase is offering an elevated offer at its branches. You can currently earn 70,000 Ultimate Rewards points when you apply and are approved for a new card.

Although there have been more lucrative offers in the past, this in-branch bonus surpasses what’s currently available online. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

If you visit your local Chase branch, you can apply for a new Chase Sapphire Preferred card and earn 60,000 Bonus Points by spending $4,000 within the initial 3 months of card activation. Additionally, an extra 10,000 Bonus Points can be earned after spending an additional $2,000 in the subsequent 3 months.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card has an annual fee of $95.

Card Highlights

  • Earn 5x Points on travel purchased through Chase and Lyft Rides (through March 2025)
  • Earn 3x Points on online grocery purchases (excluding Target, Walmart and wholesale clubs), dining and select streaming services
  • Points are worth 25% more when you redeem for travel through Ultimate Rewards
  • $50 Annual Hotel Credit each account anniversary year for hotel stays purchased through Ultimate Rewards
  • Travel Protection Benefits

Conclusion

If you’re considering the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, it’s worth checking your local branch to see if an improved offer is available.

However, for those engaged in a two-player strategy, applying through a referral link is the recommended route. This approach allows the applicant to earn the current online bonus of 60,000 bonus points, and also provides the referrer with an opportunity to earn a 15,000 referral bonus.
