Conclusion
Most people value Alaska Airlines miles over one cent each. If you do, then you should probably check out this other bonus that is still available for 40,000 miles and a $100 credit. If you prefer cash in your pocket then this new offer is better.
As mentioned above, the Companion Fare will cost $99 instead of being free. But it is still valuable.
