Bonus Amex Points for Your Amazon Shopping
Many American Express cardholders are seeing new Amex Offer today for extra Membership Rewards points on Amazon purchases. There are at least four different versions of these offers. Let’s take a look at the details.
The Offers
- Earn 4,000 additional Membership Rewards points when you spend a minimum of $1,000 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 12/31/2024. Limit of 12,000 total Membership Rewards points.
- Earn 2,000 additional Membership Rewards points when you spend a minimum of $400 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 12/31/2024. Limit of 6,000 total Membership Rewards points.
- Earn 1,200 additional Membership Rewards points when you spend a minimum of $150 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 12/31/2024. Limit of 3,600 total Membership Rewards points.
- Earn 500 additional Membership Rewards points when you spend a minimum of $50 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 12/31/2024. Limit of 1,500 total Membership Rewards points.

Conclusion
These offers are targeted, but are showing on on most of my American Express credit cards. This is good timing, with holiday shopping about to get underway.
