Chase Freedom is one of the more popular rewards credit cards. With no annual fee, 5X rotating bonus categories and points that convert to Ultimate Rewards when paired with a premium card, it is a product worth considering.

Unlike Discover who released their categories all at once, Chase does so only a few weeks before the start of the quarter. Today we have learned which categories will earn 5% back on the Chase Freedom in the second quarter of 2019 on up to $1,500 in spend. Let’s take a look!

Here are the just announced bonus categories for Chase Freedom from April – June, 2019:

Conclusion

With the ability to earn 5% back at grocery stores and home improvement stores, there is plenty of opportunity to max out the $1,500 in spend in the second. Another good quarter for those who have the Chase Freedom card, after gas stations and dugstores in the first quarter. If you have yet to register for the first quarter, today is the last day to do so.
