Analysis
This offer matches the highest ever points public offer for this card, but we’ve seen higher targeted offers. The new standard offer on the card is just the 40K points and the 5K authorized user bonus.
The great thing about this card is that it doesn’t fall under the Chase 5/24 rule and you get good value out of it. Besides the points, you also get free night every year after your cardmember anniversary at any Category 1-4 hotel or resort.
Many people would have preferred the old bonus of 2 free nights, but I doubt we will see that again.
Conclusion
I think this is a good offer that luckily isn’t restricted by 5/24. As to whether or not you should apply, well of course that depends on a number of factors that you will have to take into consideration yourself.
Also, if you recently applied for the card without the $50 statement credit, send a secure message to Chase and ask to get matched to this offer.

Not sure where in the offer it says anything about 5,000 additional points for an authorized user?
That’s always part of the Chase Hyatt card offer.
