The Offer

Beginning November 1 to November 30, 2018, Cardmembers who spend $500 across multiple purchases on Telecomm (internet, phone, cable services), shipping, movie theaters and grocery stores in the U.S. on their World of Hyatt Credit Card or Hyatt Credit Card can earn a $25 statement credit on their Chase account.

Furthermore, from December 1 to December 31, 2018, cardmembers can earn a second $25 statement credit for spending $500 in qualifying transactions of the same spend category on their World of Hyatt Credit Card or Hyatt Credit Card.

Promotion Page

Key Terms

  • Cardmembers must register for the promotion with their World of Hyatt Credit Card or Hyatt Credit Card between October 29 and November 30, 2018 and spend $500 in qualifying transactions each month in order to qualify for both statement credits.
  • Only two $25 statement credits can be earned per cardmember within the promotion period (one in each month), and they will appear in their Chase account within 6 to 8 weeks after meeting the $500 spend threshold each month.

Conclusion

A good promotion that can easily earn you a $25 statement credit on top of the points you already earn from your cards. With grocery stores included, it should be an easy feat to spend $500 in a month.

  1. What’s a better deal 5x UR points for these charges (2500 UR) or just 1 Hyatt point (500) with a $25 credit

  2. Got the Hyatt email offer yesterday afternoon. Three times in the email it says to register by Nov 30, 2018. Just tried to enroll and clicked the REGISTER NOW button, got the following response:

    Unable to enroll

We’re sorry! The registration period for this offer has ended. Please keep an eye out for future offers from the Hyatt Credit Card and the World of Hyatt Credit Card.

    • That is strange. You could send Chase a secure message and see if they can manually add you or just try it again tomorrow and see if the bug is worked out.
