Chase Improves Travel and Purchase Protection Benefits
Chase has announced upcoming changes to some of its credit card benefits. The company told us that they will improve the travel and purchase protection benefits experience and enhance a variety of benefits for branded and co-brand cardmembers.
Chase customers with eligible credit cards, will be notified of the changes now through the middle of August via email or direct mail. Changes will then go in effect in October.
Starting October 1, 2024, cardmembers will be directed to a new Chase branded website:Â www.chasecardbenefits.com to access their complimentary benefits and file new claims all in one place. Chase has also changed the Benefits Administrator and Underwriter to Assurant.
Chase also revealed some of the improvements that you will see for your credit card benefits, however this is not a full list of changes. We need to wait and see until it goes live so we can et a full picture.
Auto Rental Coverage (Update across all products that don’t already have a limit of $60,000 or more):
- Coverage will now include more vehicles; cardmembers will receive up to $60,000 in coverage for eligible vehicles with an MSRP of $125,000 or less.
- Extending the notification period from 60 days to 100 days.
