Increased Cash Out Rates Coming to Chase Ink Cards?
Mark wrote this morning about the new cash out rates Chase Ultimate Rewards for Sapphire cardholders. If you have a Sapphire Reserve or Preferred card, you can redeem points at 1.5c or 1.25c respectively for grocery stores, dining (including restaurants, takeout, and eligible delivery services), and home improvement stores.
But more cards could soon have this temporary benefit. The announcement from Chase also includes this note:
Chase will introduce other cards that earn Ultimate Rewards points to the Pay Yourself Back feature over time.
This is probably meant for other Ink cards that have an annual fee, such as Chase Ink Business Preferred or Chase Ink Business Plus that also earn Ultimate Rewards. We could see a 1.25c redemption option on these cards, and hopefully new categories as well, since they are business cards and weren’t included in the same announcement.

I talked to Chase today about this and they said it doesn’t go into effect until May 31.
Thanks Patrick!
So if you don’t need the cash best to keep the points.
