Chase Ink Business Cash/Preferred Applications Don’t Have 24 Month Restriction
NO LONGER WORKS
Chase restricts new credit card bonuses to one per 24 months. This is the language that you will usually see on an applications:
This new Cardmember bonus offer is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of this business credit card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of this business credit card who received a new Cardmember bonus for this business credit card within the last 24 months.
However, right now, there’s two applications on the Chase website that do not have this restriction:
The links above are direct links from the Chase website. Referral links have the 24 month restriction.
Current Offers
- Ink Business Preferred Card – 80,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening. $95 annual fee.
- Ink Business Cash Card – $300 bonus cash back after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening. No annual fee.
Chase 5/24 Rule
Most of you should have heard by now about the Chase 5/24 rule. You application for certain Chase cards are not approved if you’ve opened more than 5 bank cards in the last 24 months.
Chase Ink Business cards fall under this rule and the omission of the 24 month language doesn’t get you around this rule.
Conclusion
These applications without the 24 month restrictions will only be useful for those who have already received a bonus on these cards within the last 24 months, but are still under 5/24. Not many readers will fall under that category, but hopefully it is useful to some. If you do plan to apply, do it quickly and take screenshots of the application, just in case problems arise.

hilarious man. for someone to NOT have this CC within the last 24 months AND still be under 5/24 means that youre a n00b who already qualifies for any CC anyway regardless of language. also the CIP is not even a year old. haha.
