Citi Dividend Announces 5% Categories for 1st Quarter
Citi has released the calendar for Q1 of 2026 for the 5% Cash Back categories. These are quarterly rotating categories for Citi Dividend cardholders. The Dividend card isn’t available to the public anymore, but many people still hold on to it. Let’s see the details.
Q1 2026 Calendar
- Amazon
- Select Streaming Services: Amazon Prime Video, Apple Music, Disney+, DirecTV Stream, ESPN+, Fandango at Home, fuboTV, HBO Max, Hulu, MLB.TV, NBA League Pass, Netflix, Pandora, Paramount+, Sling TV, Spotify, Starz, SiriusXM, Tidal, YouTube Premium, and YouTube TV. A streaming service purchase will not qualify for this offer if the charge is bundled with another product, membership, or service; or if it is billed by a third party such as a digital platform or as a purchase inside another streaming service.
Citi Dividend is similar to Discover it and Chase Freedom cards. But it is actually slightly better as you can do all your spending in a quarter, if there’s a category you prefer. You can earn all of your cashback ($300) total any time during the year in whichever category you choose.
You can find the calendar here and register once it becomes available. You might also receive emails for 1-click activation for the new categories.
Conclusion
The Citi Dividend card has just two 5% categories for this upcoming quarter, Amazon and Select Streaming Services. These are not the best categories, but they can be useful for some people.
