Citi Dividend Announces 5% Categories for 3rd Quarter

Citi has released the calendar for Q3 of 2020 for the 5% Cash Back categories. These are quarterly rotating categories for Citi Dividend cardholders. The Dividend card isn’t available to the public anymore, but you may be able to product change over another card to it.

2020 Calendar

  • Q1 – Supermarkets, Fitness Clubs
  • Q2 – Drugstores, Amazon
  • Q3 – Home Improvement Stores, Streaming Services

Citi Dividend is unique to either the Discover it or Chase Freedom cards since you can earn all of your cashback ($300) total any time during the year in whichever category you choose.

You can find the calendar here and register starting in 6/15/20.

Conclusion

The 3rd quarter categories are not very exciting for most people I would think. So this should serve more as a reminder to just complete all your spending this quarter, while you can earn 5% at drugstores and Amazon purchases.

  1. I disagree, citi 3rd quarter categories are a win for me! Takes 6
    + off monthly satellite bill and home improvement covers a lot – Menards, Home Depot, Garden Centers.
