Citi Honors Visa Signature Card, 40K Bonus with NO 24M Language
Citi has an offer for their Hilton Honors card for 40,000 Hilton points. This is a standard offer, but what makes it interesting, is that it doesn’t have a 24 month restriction in the application page.
The Offer
Earn 40,000 Hilton Honors TM Bonus Points after making $1,000 in purchases within 4 months of account opening.
Card Benefits
- HHonors Silver status.
- Fast track to HHonors Gold status after four stays within your first 90 days of account opening or when you make $20,000 or more in purchases each calendar year.
- 6X HHONORS BONUS POINTS for every $1 spent on hotel stays within the Hilton Portfolio.
- 3X HHONORS BONUS POINTS for every $1 spent at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations.
- 2X HHONORS BONUS POINTS for every $1 spent on all other purchases.

Eligibility
Usually you are not eligible for bonus offers on this card if you have had any Citi Hilton Honors card opened or closed in the past 24 months. But in this case, the application doesn’t have that restriction, so you can apply even if you got the card or closed one recently.
Conclusion
As mentioned above. this is the standard offer for this card, and we often see 75K sign-up offer. If you’ve never had the card, if could be worth waiting for that best offer, but for others, this 40K offer could be useful to add some points to their Hilton Honors balance.
40K Hilton points are valued at about $170, so it might not be worth a hard pull for many.

Got pending – kind of surprising since I only have 1 open card with them and haven’t had an app with them in over a year.
Isn’t this the one most likely going away since Amex won the exclusive Hilton deal? Is this Citi’s way to snatch up more customers last min?
Well this deal will now soon die for those taking advantage of it quietly for some months now
