Save $20 When You Use Citi Cards with PayPal

Citi is sending out emails with an offer that can save you $20 on your shopping when you use their cards through PayPal. The email is titled “Up to $20 for back-to-school is yours, Name”. Let’s check the details.

The Offer

Cut your back-to-school bill a little slack. Earn 15% back as a statement credit, up to $20, on eligible PayPal purchases made with your Citi® card. In order to qualify, your purchases must post to your account between 08/26/2019 and 10/25/2019. Remember, purchases may not post until they are shipped.

Key Terms

  • You will receive 15% back as a statement credit on eligible PayPal purchases. Total earnings associated with this offer are subject to a maximum of $20.
  • Your purchases must post to your account between 08/26/2019 and 10/25/2019. Delays by the merchant, such as shipping, could extend the date that your purchases post beyond the promotional period.
  • An eligible purchase is a purchase made when PayPal is the payment method, except for peer‐to‐peer transactions (such as PayPal Send Money transactions), Citi credit card purchases made with convenience checks, cash advances, and items returned for credit.
  • The statement credit will be applied to your account within 2 billing cycles after the eligible purchases are posted.

Conclusion

A nice targeted offer from Citi. It’s being sent out for most Citi cards, so take a look at your email and see if you have it. Also let us know if you have any different versions of the offer.
